Instituto de Artes Graficas de Oaxaca

One of the pleasures of viewing Mr. Toledo´s graphic studio included the special exhibit of political cartoons that were on show at the time of our visit. You will see three of the cartoons based on the presidential election that will take place next week on Sunday, July 2nd. For those who do not know, the Mexican president elect is only in office for 6 years and cannot be re-elected. During our studies we had a professor from UT discuss the different political parties. Here is a run down of who is running for what:

Andrés Manuel López Obrador(AMLO): Cumplir es mi fuerza / Por el bien de todos, primero los pobres

Elección interna en el PRI
Roberto Madrazo Pintado: Roberto si puede / Con Roberto Madrazo te va a ir muy bien

Elección Interna en el PAN
Felipe Calderón Hinojosa: Valor y pasión por México / Para que vivamos mejor

From today´s news AMLO is in the lead. We´ll see what happens on Sunday!

My inspiration...

The book, The Alchemist changed my life and why I have made the changes and taken the risks I have in the past years. I want you to hear just a little piece of the introduction from the author, Paulo Coehlo, himself:
